All Blog Activity Will Be Suspended Until Further Notice

I'm sorry to tell you this but all activity on the blog is to be suspended until further notice. Something rather important has come up and it looks like I will not be able to update and make posts for a few weeks. That means all reviews and other such articles I planned on posting will have to take a backseat but rest assured I will endeavor to keep you all updated.

Thank you for understanding.

So My Friends Made A Podcast....

So, yes. Ever since starting this blog I've forged friendships with some amazing people. Two of which are Achillesgirl and The Ninja Squid. Today saw the release of the debut episode of the Two Fisted Podcast. The first in what I hope will be many episodes in which these two ladies discuss what they love. Asian Action Cinema. This episode they talk about the much beloved Hong Kong Godfather directed by my own personal Chuck Norris, Wang Lung-Wei! Hit the link, check out the companion BLOGPOST, grab a beer and listen in. Seriously, show your support. They deserve it!

Sorry For The Delay, Folks

Since making the announcement of the Wang Lung-Wei article, a friend of mine offered to send me better quality copies of some of the movies I was going to be watching so I decided to wait for those before making a start. I apologize to anyone who may have been looking forward to it. It's my own fault for jumping the gun on this. Rest assured though that I will be posting the first part up as soon as it's done. In the mean time, enjoy this image I put together for my friend Achillesgirl

Come Join The Film Smash Forums Today!

If you've been a member of the Asian Film Internet Community as long as I have you may have heard of a website once known as KFCCinema. A News and reviews site that covered all the latest releases from Hong Kong, Japan, Korea and other places. The site also hosted what was at the time one of the most active forum communities and in my early days as an Asian film enthusiast it proved indispensable in being able to find out what were the best releases for whatever film you were looking for and also provided a lot of fun banter between it's members.

Sadly, the site had to shutdown do to various problems but it wasn't long before some former members managed to start a new site called Film Smash. The forum has recently gone through a revamp and we're looking for people to join our site, join in with the posting and hopefully rebuild the reputation that was set down by KFCCinema.

Hope to see you all there:

The rumours of my demise were greatly exaggerated....

Yes, hello. It's me. If you follow my blog you may have noticed I haven't posted anything since November of last year. While maintaining this blog and committing myself to other projects I experienced a creative burnout and I ended up looking at this site as more of a chore then a simple hobby I started to pass the time. However with several things no squared away I will be making a return to posting reviews on a regular basis as well. I would also like to announce I have made plans to start a second blog which will concentrate on cult Sci-Fi and horror. When that Blog débuts I will post about it. So, expect to see more and more reviews in the coming weeks. Thank you all for your patience and regular comments, it is much appreciated to this cynical and jaded action cinema fan.
